To upgrade the Lucas 6 volt MC45 Dynamo. The original Hawker Sunbeam Alternator Conversion Kit has been developed and refined to fit easily and increase the electrical reliability/performance of your Sunbeam Motorcycle.
The original Hawker Sunbeam Alternator Conversion Kit has been especially designed to retain a close resemblance to the original Dynamo whilst giving you a genuine 120 watts, even at the lowest engineer speed. This unbeatable kit is especially useful as the Sunbeam motorcycle needs a reliable charging system to run its coil ignition. It allows the dependable conversion to 12 volts and a subsequent upgrade of lighting power, essential in modern riding conditions.
The kit comes complete with high quality CNC machined housing, Alternator, 12 volt Regulator and a full set of fitting instructions. A fitting service is available, we would be happy to do so although the unit is very easy to fit and many of our previous customers have been so impressed they have offered to endorse the kit - you cannot get a better advert than that!
Original MC45 Sunbeam Dynamo Reconditioning
If you wish to retain the original Dynamo we offer a specialist reconditioning service for the MC45. Our workmanship, experience and customer satisfaction is second to none – these units are also available as service exchange off the shelf. Prices can be given after inspection of the exchange unit, we would also require the Dynamo/Regulator to be supplied with the unit.
